Hi, I'm Nicolas Martalog, and I'm an aspiring software developer that specializes in various fields such as VR, ML, and AI. I aim to create software to improve technologies in different fields and make an impact in the world. As of now, I'm living in Burlington, Ontario, and love spending time creating artwork, cycling to different cities around me, cooking fine cuisine trying to compete with Gordon Ramsay, and vibing out to old 2000's songs :).
My Passions
VR And Coding
My passion for all things VR started from my first experience with it back in 2016 in a fashion outlet mall in Buffalo, New York. I instantly got hooked by the immersive feeling that VR offers and immediately saw the real-world applications it can have other than just being a source of entertainment.

Art
Creating artwork has always been a big part of my life, almost since birth, and a pastime I will keep on enjoying. The sense of creativity rushing through me as I see a blank canvas or the emotions I feel throughout the journey of a piece will consistently keep drawing me back into the endless creative possibilities with each canvas.
My favourite medium to work with is Oil Paint as it allows me to paint a more realistic scene due to oil paint having more pigment than any other paint as well as the tradition of great artists from history painting marvelous paintings and growing up being amazed by those pieces.

Sports
Soccer has been my main sport I have been playing competitively for most of my life, but I also enjoy going out of my comfort zone and trying out new sports. Soccer has taught me how to work as a team and work efficiently and productively as well as how communication is key to success. Some other sports I have tried are football, volleyball, and kickboxing.
